Fire Station Play Date

Today Lillian and I got to go to Madison Fire Station #1. She was too young to really understand any of it but I do like her to experience new things. She loved when they turned on the lights of one of the fire trucks. No idea what our fireman's name was but his nickname is milk money. Given to him because he is the youngest guy and they said his mom sends him to work with milk money everyday. He was so great to the kids. They showed us around the inside of the fire station and each of the trucks. We learned that the trucks with hoses are actually called fire engines and the ones with ladders are called fire trucks.
The kids listening intently even though the poor milk money had no idea if they were understanding anything he said.

The big water hose to the 500 gallon water tank inside

Lillian actually liked when the fireman got in all his gear

Giving high fives to the fireman

Lillian did not want to sit on the cold ground

Sweet Andrew with the fireman's hat on. He seemed to be the only one old enough to answer any questions.

This momma was soooo excited to get to slide down the pole. I think we were all a little jealous. :)

Tried to get a group shot. Not easy with little ones.

Fun play date and excited for when Lillian is old enough to know what's going on.
